Owner/Broker of Clear River Real Estate

I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I lived in Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Hinsdale, Illinois and Des Moines, Iowa before choosing The University of Texas at Austin for college. I majored in Economics with a minor in pre-law. After graduating I moved to San Marcos and met my wife Janice. She was younger than me so I had to figure out how to make a living for the next four years in the little town of San Marcos while she attended Southwest Texas State and graduated. I believed totally in entrepreneurship. Soon started a cleaning and maintenance business. During the 20 years of the contracting business I began to buy and sell properties and became extremely interested in all facets of real estate. I decided to get my real estate license from the State of Texas in 1999. I worked for a property management company for about 20 years gaining experience in sales and leasing in commercial, multifamily and residential real estate. When the opportunity arose I decided to get my broker's license from the State of Texas. I then started my own company called Clear River Real Estate Sales and Management. We have a great crew of maintenance people, vendors and a great leasing agent. Our goal is to keep growing through providing good service to both our tenants and landlords. My hobbies include gardening, coffee roasting, and fishing.

Leasing and Sales Agent

I became a San Martian 12 years ago. I am a Texas State University Alumni, where I completed a B.S. in Microbiology. I received my Texas Real Estate License March 2020, and have experience in luxury sales, residential / commercial leasing, and property management. I joined Clear River Real Estate in February 2022, and am proficient in property management software, multiple listing service, and electronic communication. I strive for tenant satisfaction, sustaining high leasing rates, and have an emphasis on timely client communication. Outside of real estate, I am a full time graduate student at Texas Health and Science University, where I am working towards a M.S. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. My hobbies include paddle boarding, house plant collecting, and concert going.
